The modern factories handling
huge volumes of Cooling Water, Process Water &
Waste Water puts high emphasis on the filtration
of water, as the same has to be recycled to main
processes. Auto Self Cleaning Filter is ideally
suited for filtration of water or water type
liquid having low viscosity. It can be used as a
continuous line system. The filter uses number
of specially constructed filter element with
inverted construction as a result the filtration
level from this filter can be as low as 50
microns rating even with very high flow rates.
The Auto self cleaning filter is completely
automatic and can be used for continuous
filtration giving consistent filtration of the
filtrate. It is operated on automated PLC and
timer circuit. The fluid to be filtered flows
into non clogging welded wedge wire candles via
both the ends of the element. As a result the
pressure inside candle remains uniform & solid
particles to be filtered retained inside the
candle over the full length & utilizes the full
filtering area.
When the solid particles
deposited inside the candle reaches desired ∆ P,
differential pressure set in the PLC system
starts the back wash operation and the filter
gets cleaned very fast & brings down the ∆ P to
the original level. The cleaning operation is
done with the help of a geared motor rotation
and with the help of filtrate flowing in the
reverse direction. The filer is very compact &
user friendly. As compared to filtration
operation the back-flushing time is only few
seconds.
