This filter is ideally suited
for filtration of water or water type liquid
having low viscosity. It can be used as a
continuous on line system. The filter uses
specially constructed wedge wire element where
the flow is from inside to outside. Due to the
single element this filter can be used from 150
microns upwards for very high flow rates of upto
950 m3/hr.
The liquid will flow through the filter screen
from inside to outside. During filtration the
liquid when flows from inside to outside
deposits the solid on the inside surface of the
filter element which slowly increases the
differential pressure between inlet & outlet.
When the desired ∆ P set in the PLC system is
reached the automatic cleaning cycle starts
functioning. The cleaning operation is very
fast. It uses the filtrate for cleaning purpose.
The frequency of the cleaning procedure depends
on the contamination level of the inlet liquid.
Due to very compact size & automatic continuous
operation it can be used on line for a very high
flow rate. The filter is user friendly & will be
very low maintenance. .
